To write to your Representative in the U.S. House of Representatives:
- Click to go to the House website
- Select your state or location from the drop-down list, then enter your zip code (use the link to find your +4)
- Hit the “Contact Your Representative” button.
- Answer the spam filter question. (For example, type “seven” if the question is “What is eight minus one?”)
- Click submit, and then start filling out the form to write your message.
To write to your Senator in the U.S. Senate:
- Click to go to the Senate list of Senators.
- Use the drop-down boxes to narrow the list and find your senator.
To find local GLBT organizations:
- Visit CenterLink – The Community of LGBT Centers.
- Visit PFLAG to find a local chapter.
