Blog Carnival
I have been unable to find an active blog carnival covering gay issues, so I decided to create one: the Gay Rights Carnival.
What’s A Blog Carnival?
Somewhat like an online magazine, a blog carnival collects articles (i.e., blog posts) from contributors on a certain topic. It’s published online on a regular schedule. Each edition is a blog post with an annotated list of permalinks to the submitted blog articles.
What Is The Gay Rights Blog Carnival?
The Gay Rights Carnival includes any kind of blogging relating to equal rights for gay people – marriage equality, hate crime laws, nondiscrimination statutes, the role of religion, etc. News, commentary, opinion pieces, reviews of relevant books/films, reaction posts, action steps, anything you can think of. It’s wide open.
I hope to attract a wide variety of opinions and topics, and to provide a forum in which many different voices can be heard in conversation.
How It Works
This blog carnival is organized through blogcarnival.com.
Submit an article/blog post via blogcarnival.com/bc/submit_6278.html or email me directly at richard@equalmarriagenow.com.
- The deadline for submissions is the 25th of each month, for inclusion in the carnival to be posted the first of the following month (i.e., submit by February 25 for inclusion in the March 1 carnival).
- When you submit, please include a brief description of your article in the “Remarks” section.
If you participate, please link back to the Carnival from your own blog.
Thank you!!
